Tedros and the Sword of Light has arrived!

Hey y’all,

It’s been a busy few weeks! Did some traveling and took a much needed break from drawing. Now that I’m recharged, I have some exciting news to share. After nearly a year of work, Tedros and the Sword of Light is finished! Shout out to my family for providing moral support and as well as their voice support! See if you can guess who’s playing who before the credits roll.

This is the most ambitious project that I’ve taken on, and it certainly won’t be the last. If you’ve been following my journey, you know that I love comics, but I REALLY love animation. Which is why when I started Kassa Studios, I was being very intentional when including “Studios” in the name. I want to tell stories across a variety of mediums. And Tedros and the Sword of Light is truly Kassa Studios’ first foray in animation.

I learned a ton while making this animated short and I can’t wait to do more! Beyond just doing the animation, I learned how to make music, honed my editing skills, and provided some basic voice direction. Now, this animated short isn’t the complete story, but it gives you a good idea where things are headed.

Anyway, enough talking, here is Kassa Studios’ 1st animated short: Tedros and the Sword of Light. I hope you like it!
